Born February 1st 1979, Rachelle was raised in Quebec, Canada. She got her break waitressing tables when a studio exec overheard her talking about her acting aspirations. From there she spent most of her career on the small screen with appearances in shows such as “Big Wolf On Campus”, “Bones”, “Veronica Mars” and featured in the George Clooney directed “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”.

Bryce Dallas Howard on Victoria

This short MTV interview with Bryce Dallas Howard shows her discussing Victoria as a character. We all know Rachelle Lefevre was fired from the Twilight Saga due to a minor scheduling conflict, whether this was fair or not, is up to you I guess, but the word on the street is that Bryce was initially offered the role of Victoria but turned it down because the role was too small, and poor Rachelle (who was highly committed to the films and the character) got the boot just before she got to play the main ‘villain’. At the end of the day though, Bryce is the new Victoria and she may just impress fans with her performance next year June despite a cold reception initially after all the drama of: ‘your hired/your fired’
How do you feel about Bryce as Victoria? or is it the character that means more than the actor and whoever plays her better should be her. Let me know if you have any thoughts on the matter

Melissa Rosenburg on New Moon

Melissa Rosenburg is the screen screenwriter for the Twilight Series, so far she has written the scripts for Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, here she explains some of her choices and changes in New Moon

“In the book, Harry Clearwater’s death, heart attack is mentioned as something that’s off screen, although it plays a crucial role in the structure of the books,” said Melissa. “Reading that it was Harry Clearwater’s heart attack it just gave me the idea of, why don’t we see this? Stephenie [Meyer] doesn’t specify what caused the heart attack, so I decided, well, you know, if could be caused by something startling him. It could be caused by fear.

It was a way to keep Victoria alive, it was a way to keep Charlie and the hunt alive, the danger to Charlie alive,” said Melissa, “and that’s where we get a really great action sequence with Victoria that all blends together with important parts of the movie and bring parts of the book forward. I particularly like that.”

New Moon Stars in Autumn Fashion Shoot

The November issue of SELF magazine, has Ashley Greene (Alice), Kellan Lutz (Emmet), and Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) to show off some Autumn fashion.

All three actors were so comfortable to be with–not at all awkward OR diva-esque, it was amazing. They clearly enjoyed each other and had spent so much time together that their comfort level made everyone feel at ease. Throughout the day, we chatted about stunt-training (they were all really into that), how rough it is for Rob Pattinson (Ashley said she knows she can go undetected if she’s with him because press will go right for Rob) and how lucky they were for the whole Twilight experience.

Ashley Greene – New Moon More Intimate

Ashley Greene says making New Moon was more intimate than Twilight and she tells her story to Saturday Night magazine.

Making three movies together, not to mention experiencing the glory and shock of their sudden rise to fame, was bound to make the cast of “Twilight” bond. Star Ashley Greene said that, for her, it was filming the second part of the saga, “New Moon,” that really solidified the friendships of everyone on set.

“So, with the second one, it was more intimate as far as the amount of people involved,” the actress who plays vampire Alice Cullen said in the October issue ofSaturday Night, a magazine for college students. “After the first week or two of production, it was just me, Kristen [Stewart], Rob [Pattinson] and Taylor [Lautner], and then Rachelle [Lefevre] was there for a little bit. Taylor’s super, super sweet, and Jackson [Rathbone], I adore. I love them all.”

Greene said she’s particularly close to her onscreen brother Kellan Lutz and Lefevre, who was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard for Eclipse.

“Kellan and I are very close,” she said. “I have different relationships with different people, and it’s really great, I kind of get the best of everything. Rachelle and I have this, like, zest for life. She and I can just go and have a glass of wine and unwind, and we work out together and stuff like that, so she and I have that kind of relationship — I think we’re both easygoing, fun people.”

Greene’s friendship with Stewart evolved over time. “I feel like in the first film, we were friends, but with our schedule we were never in the same place at the same time,” she said. “Kristen and I recently got closer.”

Greene also dished about the rabid “Twilight” fanbase, whose desire to know everything about her love life she called “kind of laughable.” She has certainly been gaining more attention with recent rumors of a romance with Chace Crawford and a nude photo scandal that surfaced last month.

“This is my thing: If I was in a relationship with someone that I really cared about, it would upset me if they speculated something about me and someone else because that other person has to read it,” she said. “That’s the part which I haven’t encountered yet because I’m not in a relationship, but I’m just waiting for it — and then I’m sure I’ll hate it. It’s something I have to get used to, I guess. It’s all a part of this job. It’s like the little fine print of dating me: ‘You will now be thrown into this “Twilight” whirlwind.’ The fans embrace everything that we do, so if I started dating some guy they would probably embrace him too.”
