Ashley Greene in Women’s Health Magazine

We posted the scans from Ashley Greene in September 2010′s Women’s Health issue (if you didn’t see them, check them out here) - well here is a video from that shoot and the article :)  I have always loved her but after reading the article, I LOVE her even more – “A lot of people like to be super-tiny, but I don’t want a child’s body – I want a woman’s body that’s extremely fit. It’s so much sexier”!! Hell yeah girl! <3

“I’M A COMPETITIVE LITTLE SUCKER”

AS THE BENEVOLENT VAMPIRE ALICE IN THE TWILIGHT BLOCKBUSTER, ASHLEY GREENE IS ON THE RED-CARPET RIDE OF HER LIFE. LUCKILY, SHE ALREADY HAS THE CONFIDENCE TO HANDLE IT. SO HOW DOES SHE KEEP IT TOGETHER AT THE TENDER AGE OF 23? THERE’S A LOT OF PRESSURE ON VAMPIRES THESE DAYS….

By Monica Corcoran Harel

Green contact lenses and the odd fang flash just don’t cut it anymore. Take the characters from Twilight, for example. In the third instalment of the blockbuster series, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, these undead creatures of the night have to run, fly and do battle with the forces of evil – all while looking impossibly gorgeous.

Actress Ashley Green was up to the challenge. To play the part of the vampire Alice Cullen – family to Kellan Lutz’s character Emmett and the brooding Edward (Robert Pattinson), as well as loyal pal to the human object of Edward’s desire, Bella (Kristen Stewart) – she had to sculpt her 1.67m frame into a lean, mean bad-guy-fighting machine. “Before we started filming, fitness was [already] a priority for me,” says Ashley. “I’ve always been active. I went from dance to tae kwon do to being on the swimming team and playing volleyball. I like sports that are fun and engaging, so it doesn’t really feel like you’re working out.”

She had a few physical advantages as well, she admits. “My body holds muscle really easily, and I tend to bulk up if I’m lifting weights.” So, while filming, she focused on cardio, squats and planks during her daily hour-long interval sessions. “I did side planks for my obliques, which are one of my trouble areas,” she says. “And traditional planks tone your back so you don’t have that little bit of fat hanging over your bra. Ugh!” Ashley even inspired squat contest among her female co-stars (“I’m a competitive little sucker,” she says with a laugh).

She did a couple of non-traditional weight moves: working with kettlebells and pushing a big box filled with weights across a room. “My butt and legs were so sore!”

But this is not a woman who’s obsessed with counting her ribs, as many other starlets seem to be. “A lot of people like to be super-tiny, but I don’t want a child’s body – I want a woman’s body that’s extremely fit. It’s so much sexier,” she says.

Melissa Rosenberg Talks Breaking Dawn

MTV caught up with Melissa Rosenberg at The Emmy’s Red Carpet and talked about Breaking Dawn.  She says that the battle scene has been an enormous challenge.

MTV News was lucky enough to catch up with “Dexter” writer-turned – “The Twilight Saga” scribe, Melissa Rosenberg last night at the Emmy’s red carpet. As is our natural response when face-to-face with anyone involved in the “Twilight” universe, we had to ask for any update on “Breaking Dawn”, which begins shooting in November.

Fortunately, Melissa is the best woman to talk to considering she is writing the not-yet-finished script. She told us that the two screenplays (for “Part 1″ and “Part 2″) are about 75 to 80 percent completed. A bit surprisingly, it’s the finale of the second film that is giving her the toughest time, and not “Part 1′s” infamous birthing scene.

“The final battle sequence is a big challenge because it lasts 25 pages,” she said.  ”It’s almost an entire three-act story in and of itself. You have to track (keep it all in one setting) hundreds of characters. It’s an enormous challeng to choreograph on the page and for Bill [Condon] to choreograph on the stage.”

It sounds like Melissa has written versions of both screenplays, but it’s just the matter of perfecting them that is the issue. Melissa said she hasn’t had a chance to go over her ideas with director Bill Condon yet, which makes finalizing the script impossible.

“I’ve written a couple of drafts [of the scene]; I haven’t gotten with Bill [to go over it] yet,” she said.  ”That’s the next big hurdle to sit down with the stunt coordinator and create the ballet. It’s a lot of work. I’m exhausted, but we’re intent on making them the best scripts yet.”

So with a few months to go before filming of Breaking Dawn starts and 442-days  till the premiere, what are your thoughts on this?  Are you excited yet?? What scenes are you most looking forward to?

I Wana Be A Vampire, So Freakin’ Bad…

This is really good: “An ode to the awesome and ridiculous vampire fans out there! A parody of the “Billionaire” music video by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars.”

LYRICS:

I wanna be a Vampire so freakin’ bad

and bite all of the girls I never had.

I wanna be on the cover of Fangs Magazine

smiling next to Edward and Sookie.

Oh every time I close my eyes

I scream that I will never die

A different blood-type every night,

Oh I, I swear

The world better prepare,

For when I’m a vampire.

Yeah, I would have a cape like Dracula

Sneak up from the back of ya,

Everyday Halloween

Popular with all the teens

I’ll probably pull an alice cullen and emmett

and hook up with my siblings just for the heck of it.

Give away a few t-shirts that say “Suck It”

and last but not least grant somebody their last wish

You can call me Count von Count from the ‘Street, though

I’m not purple and I got no hand up my bum hole.

Get it? Can’t wait to bite on some Twi-moms

they all seem to want to get it on in my coffin

I’ll make sure to choose my victims with care

and there’ll be smokin’ hot 100-year-old cougars everywhere!

Oh every time I close my eyes

I dream that I will never die

A different blood-type every night,

oh I, I swear

The world better prepare,

for when I’m a vampire.

I’ll be buyin’ up Transylvanian real estate

avoiding all the wooden stakes

Ain’t got time for all of that furry werewolf patty-cake

Poof of smoke, and then i’ll fly away like a crazed bat

And sparkle while running through the woods giving piggy-backs

And, yeah, everyone will think that I’m real gay

But they’ll all be dead by my 200th birthday.

I’ll probably suck the most of all the vampires you know

and have a thousand hook-ups with the girls that are emo.

And all the other vampire starlets

could rest in peace once we rid the world of all garlic.

I know we’ve all gotta similar thirst

for finding tasty necks, so sink your teeth in for the blood burst

I wanna Vampire so freakin’ bad

and bite all of the girls i never had.

I wanna be on the cover of Fangs Magazine

smiling next to Edward and Sookie (What up Sookie!)

Oh every time I close my eyes

It’s cause my skins sparkling so bright

I dream that I will never die

A different blood-type every night,

oh I, I swear

The world better be scared,

for when i’m a vampire.

I wanna be a vampire so freakin’ bad…..

Christina Ricci on Working With Rob

Robert Pattinson works alongside some household names in his upcomming film Bel Ami, among these is Actress Christina Ricci who told On the red carpet about what it was like working with Rob, check it out below:

Ricci also spoke to E!Online , here is what she had to say:

“It was really fun, I mean just aesthetically we wore amazing costumes and hair and make up was great,” Ricci told us at the fab party about her new flick. “And working with Rob was amazing. He’s such a great guy, so talented.”

Well, since she brought him up we might as well get the on-set dirt from her:

“He’s just great. We’d just make fun of each other the whole time, like ‘oh my god we’re so goofy’ or ‘my accent is so bad!’”

So exactly how close do Christina and Rob get?Christina Ricci Christina Ricci on Working With Rob

“We are lovers, yeah you know.”

Relax Twi-Hards. She means they are lovers onscreen for Bel Ami!

“There’s some naughtiness,” the adorable Ricci said with a smirk when we grilled her on whether we get some good love-scenes, adding there are “lots” of them.

Natch we had to ask the question on all of our minds. Is Rob a good kisser?

“Um yeah,” Christina smiled. “He is pretty much awesome.”

One lucky girl who gets to experience Rob’s smooches on a pretty regular basis is Kristen Stewart. As we told you, Kristen traveled to Budapest after her birthday to be with Rob during filming.

“Yeah she visited,” Christina said. “I love her, she is totally sweet. And he is great!”

Although Ricci says she’s never seen a Twilight film, she totally gets the cult appeal.

“I understand where they’re coming from,” confessed the lovely CR. ” He’s an awesome human being. He’s so funny and quirky and weird.”

Cam Cigandet in Burlesque Trailer

Yummy Twilight vampire James (Cam Cigandet) has been working on making a name for himself since Twilight (well, and before Twilight, admittedly), his latest release: Burlesque starring Christina Aguilera in a sort of  ‘Step up‘ style film, check out the trailer below. Between us, I am really keen to watch this even though I know musical romance/Drama type films starring singers not actresses don’t always fare well :( I am a fan of the cast, and a long time fan of Cam and Christina ;)

Let me know what you think in the comments section :)
