New Moon Book Cover -time to pick sides!

Take a look at the New Moon tie-in book covers, they were revealed exclusively to Entertainment Weekly, team Edward and Team Jacob now have their own cover so if you go out and buy one -be aware of the side your choosing ;) lol

In the Team Jacob version, Edward can be seen looking on in the background and Bella looks conflicted while Jacob stares straight ahead sensually and confidently.

According to the examiner:

“The “Team Jacob” version of the movie tie-in for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: New Moon is not for the fall release of the mass-market paperback as we’d previously reported, but for a trade paperback due in-stores on September 15th. The trade version will also include an exclusive fold-out poster!

So what about that mass-market paperback? We’ve got the REAL cover for that one, which is definitely in the Team Edward realm… This cover will be seen on the mass-market paperback release of the book, which will be available on October 27th.”

The Team Edward cover is similar to the official New Moon movie poster the only real difference is that Edward is looking down in the book cover.

The New Moon will rise early in France

If you just Cannot wait until November 20th to watch New Moon there is something you can do about it… it just depends on the magnitude of you flair for extravagance ;)

The HD Room have put up the french trailer for New Moon and the release date at the end of the trailer is November 18th. This means that the lucky viewers in France will be able to enjoy the film on Wednesday when America will only be able to see it on the Friday.

Friday the 20th, however, doesn’t seem so bad when Nu Metro have scheduled New Moon for release on the 27th of November -Which means we have to wait a whole week before we can watch the second installment in the Twilight series :(

Hopefully Ster Kinekor will have it before then but at this point I can only give you Nu Metro’s date as it is on their website.

Here is the french trailer just incase you would like to hear Edward using that seductive french accent  ;)

David Slade on Eclipse

David SladeNew Moon isn’t even in theatres yet, but we are already gearing up for the third film, Eclipse. Fear.net crashed a David Slade signing at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, California, where he was signing a new line of toys based on 30 Days of Night. “One of the cool things about shooting a movie based on a book is that it is not a film the studio can really change,” he tells us. “Not that the studio would want to change anything, of course.” David promises that they will stick close to the book – there is no sense in changing the story at all.’ Hit the jump for more.

What will differ about Slade’s Twilight? “I don’t really know. We haven’t even started shooting yet.” While the director says he has a basic idea of what he wants to do with it, he is more concerned with telling a good story than being “different.” “It is darker, and there is a lot more action than the previous two,” he admits. “The third book is from Bella’s point of view, but the film will be more objective.” And just how will he do that? “We are going to focus on the origin stories of several characters, like Jasper, and show how Bella will decide between Edward and Jacob.”

David didn’t read the books until the studio was interested in bringing him in – then he did his homework. “It was tough for a middle-aged man to get into,” he admits, “from the point of view of a 17 year old girl. But once I got past that, I found them to be really good stories.” He is especially excited about the great script from Dexter writer/producer Melissa Rosenberg. Right now, they are still in preproduction, with plans to start shooting later in the year

We have a winner!!

Robert Pattinson

It is official :) Vanity Fair have closed their poll for the worlds most handsome man and the results are crystal clear!!

Robert Pattinson has won by a landslide, he received a whopping 51% of the votes which comes to a total of 137946 individual votes. Runner up, Nacho Figueras received 15% of the votes (39874) which shows just how many more votes Rob got than the other 17 contenders.

Was there ever really any doubt? Not actually, Pattinson lead the poll from the beginning receiving more votes than Hollywood heart-throbs Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.

Well Done Rob!!

Pattinson’s Steamy Make-Out Scenes

This week is definitely off to a much better start for Twilight star Robert Pattinson, after Thursday’s taxi incident -it seems only fair that he starts this week on a beach locking lips with a blonde in a bikini…

Or maybe that is just a little too good to be true (well, not for his fans) Pattinson was photographed on the set of his new movie Remember me in a steamy scene with co-star Emile De Ravin (lost).

Pattinson plays Tyler Hawkins and the movie is based around two lovers (Rob and Emile) whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies. It is scheduled for release in February 2010
